Hankook tyres, fitted in Erdington
A South Korean maker just below the premium names on price, and one that several European carmakers now fit to new cars.
Find Hankook tyres for your car
Hankook was founded in South Korea in 1941 and has grown into one of the bigger tyre makers in the world. Several European carmakers now fit its tyres to new cars, which is a useful sign for anyone wondering whether a mid-range tyre is good enough.
The range is easy to follow. Ventus Prime is the everyday tyre for family cars and quicker hatchbacks, Kinergy Eco suits smaller cars, and Kinergy 4S is the all-season option.
The reason to choose Hankook is value. If a set of premium tyres is more than your car needs, this is a sensible place to start comparing.
